No, and we won't pretend to. Dyslexia is a different construct with a well-served pathway, and we don't touch it. Veyra measures what most shelves don't: attention, executive function, memory and thinking.

Not for the JCQ form itself: access arrangements need scores from an approved list of instruments, and we're not on it, so schools keep their existing licence for that. What Veyra builds is the history-of-need file behind the application: termly, objective, dated evidence that makes the application stronger and harder to challenge.

Membership includes Ask Veyra, an AI assistant in the Teacher Dashboard grounded in your school's actual assessment data, with a teacher usage allowance included. Heavier usage comes with the larger memberships arriving as Pebble Academy rolls out. Yes. Data protection and safeguarding are central to the design. The platform is built in line with UK GDPR standards, with secure institutional logins and anonymised data handling for research. The school stays in control of its data throughout. More on data & security →

Veyra, the in-game guide, is guard-railed: it asks before it tells, speaks only to the student's actual progress, and never claims to be a teacher, therapist or doctor. When something is out of scope, it says so and points to a person. Its boundaries are designed with clinicians and reviewed continuously.

Veyra is being developed for use across both education and healthcare contexts, helping bridge the gap between school-based support and clinical pathways. We're gaining support for NHS adoption through the NHS Innovation Service; there is no direct NHS pathway yet. In schools today, Veyra's role is early insight and structured skills support at the universal and targeted tiers.
